Trekko acts as data controller for the personal data you provide, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish data protection law. The controller is:

2. Legal Basis for Processing
- Contract performance: processing your data to manage bookings and provide the services you have requested.
- Legitimate interests: improving and securing our platform, fraud prevention, and analytics.
- Consent: marketing communications, where you have explicitly opted in.
- Legal obligation: compliance with applicable law, including tax and accounting regulations.
3. Your Rights Under GDPR
- Right of access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification: ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Right to erasure: request deletion of your personal data where there is no legitimate reason for its continued processing.
- Right to restriction: ask us to suspend processing in certain circumstances.
- Right to data portability: receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
- Right to object: object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing.
4. Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including legal, accounting, and tax obligations. Booking records are generally retained for a minimum of 6 years under Spanish commercial law.
5. International Transfers
Some of our processors (for example, cloud infrastructure or analytics providers) may process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where this occurs, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
